GENERAL FAQ's ABOUT CBD:
A: CBD itself has always been legal in all 50 states, because it is derived from hemp, which is not the same as marijuana. And as of the passing of the 2019 Farm Bill on December 11th, 2018, industrial hemp and all its derivatives (that includes CBD products) are now considered an agricultural commodity as opposed to a controlled substance, and is therefore now finally legal to ship and carry across state lines as well.
Q: Are there side effects or reactions to other prescription drugs?
A: This is a sticky question. Because our bodies already make CBD, the gut instinct answer would seem to be no and indeed most people can take CBD with absolutely no side effects or reactions with their medications. HOWEVER...my personal theory is that because medication is working on/with damaged cells, once the endocannabinoid system is replenished with CBD and begins repairing said damaged cells, then it's possible that medications you take may no longer work as they're intended and weird things can happen. Also, some people can be super-sensitive to any trace amount of THC and there is up to a 0.3% trace amount (the max amount considered still legal by law) in most CBD oils. So, the general rule is to discuss with your doctor before you begin taking CBD and start your serving size small to determine how your body may respond.

Q: Can it get you high or show up on a drug test?
A: No, it will not get you high because hemp is bred to have barely any THC in it, which is the psychoactive cannabinoid in marijuana. Kannaway's CBD oil is made only from hemp, will not get you high and will 99.9% of the time not show positive on a drug test (Full disclosure: if you use a full spectrum oil with the 0.3% legal trace it could test positive after building up for a period of time, though it's very rare. Kannaway has several different options with zero THC for those concerned. Please ask me more!).
Q: Is CBD oil safe for pets?
A: Absolutely! And your children, too. Any living creature with an endocannabinoid system can benefit from CBD, but always consult your vet or pediatrician first.
Q: Do I need a doctor's credential to purchase?
A: Nope, because CBD isn't a controlled substance and is legal in all 50 states.
Q: Is CBD oil gluten-free and/or allergy-safe?
A: All our products are gluten-free and vegan and most are food-allergy-free. If you have an allergy to preservatives or sulphites (which may be found in the MCT we use as a liquifier), our oral applicators contain nothing but CBD. So, we have options for everyone!
Q: Is CBD oil kosher?
A: Not in the respect that it's been blessed by a rabbi, but it is vegan and free of anything that would be considered "unclean" by religious standards.
FAQ's ABOUT KANNAWAY:
Q: Why is your CBD oil so much more expensive than some others I've seen?
A: Well, the answer to this question is three fold:
- We're not gonna lie. With Kannaway, you are paying for premium CBD products. Our quality is unmatched. Our CBD is a medical-grade product, purposely created with that standard in mind, to specifically target illness, setting the bar for every other competitor that follows. It is currently prescribed by doctors in three different countries as medication, one of which subsidizes it (meaning insurance pays for it). and is sold as medicine in 11 countries as opposed to a dietary supplement like here in the U.S. Our company was founded by a doctor and is run by doctors, scientists and scientific researchers. Our company does nothing but cannabis, all day, every day. There is no other brand out there that can even come close to any of these claims.
- It seems like you're paying more up front, but in the long run, you are actually paying LESS per milligram and per fluid ounce than most other brands. So, the median range in the industry seems to be around $70 per fluid ounce (though I've seen some companies charging considerably more), before shipping and taxes. Kannaway sells FOUR FLUID OUNCE bottles for starters, and when broken down per fluid ounce and INCLUDING shipping and taxes at full retail price, you're STILL saving at least $20 per fluid ounce. Join our SmartShip program or sign on as a Brand Ambassador and you can get it for wholesale, which is significantly more savings.
- Once you figure out how many milligrams of CBD per day you need to address your personal issues, regardless what brand you use, that number is your "sweet spot" and that's what matters. If you're using a $70 one-ounce bottle of X-brand but only getting 3 milligrams of CBD per serving, you are potentially looking at purchasing multiple bottles at 70 bucks a pop to cover even ONE four ounce bottle of CBD-rich Kannaway. See the difference for yourself:
Look at the fine print...this brand has
ONLY 3 mg of ACTUAL CBD per serving!
ONLY 3 mg of ACTUAL CBD per serving!
The rest is extracted from the floral parts of the plant,
which are not CBD-rich AND was possibly even illegal in the U.S. at the time.
(currently researching legality after passage of the new Farm Bill).

I could not find a product listing with "33mg of hemp oil"
as seen in the pic on the left. This is the closest match.

With 33.3 mg of ACTUAL CBD per serving.
Period. No funny business.
Q: Why does the shipping cost so much?
A: Good question. When I asked this question myself (because let's face it, we've ALL been spoiled by Prime!), the answer was basically, "We sell cannabis. We're lucky UPS is willing to work with us at all, frankly." To which I kinda had to say...yeah, point taken. It has been announced, though, that soon shipping cost will be determined by weight instead of having a flat rate. We're on the ground floor of a relatively new industry, so there are growing pains! For the meantime, we just have to suck it up a little while longer.
Q: How long will it take to get my order?
A: We ship out of our headquarters in San Diego, California, so it really depends on where you are in the country as to how long the wait is. Since I'm in Los Angeles, I am fortunate to receive it relatively quickly; usually in a couple business days. If you're in New York, though, you should expect at least 7-10 business days.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: On the rare chance that you receive damaged product during shipping, you can just contact customer service and they'll instruct you how to receive a replacement free of charge. Otherwise, refunds are determined on a case-by-case basis.
